Everton 1-4 Liverpool: Reds triumph with biggest Goodison win in 39 years.

Wolves 0-1 Liverpool: Origi the late, late hero in vital win
It doesn’t get much better than that. After such a frustrating afternoon, up popped Divock Origi to fire in a late winner to beat Wolves 1-0 in this season’s Villa moment
Goals
Origi 90+4′ (assist – Salah)
Origi came as the first substitute, but it wasn’t the shaken Jota who made way, instead the captain Jordan Henderson came off for Origi as Liverpool shifted to a 4-2-3-1.
Origi was bright from the moment he came on the pitch, and he was soon followed by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as, with the Reds continually frustrated, the manager felt the need to change things up in pursuit of an unlikely goal.
Eventually it came, with less than a minute left to play, and it was Origi who converted, spinning to fire home and clinch a vital win.
Man of the Match: Divock Origi
Liverpool became the first-ever English side to win all six Champions League group games as they walked to a 2-1 victory over AC Milan at the San Siro on Tuesday night.
Goals
Tomori 28′
Salah 36′ (assist – Oxlade-Chamberlain)
Origi 55′ (assist – Mane)
With eight changes made including rare starts for the likes of Nat Phillips, Neco Williams and Tyler Morton, it was no surprise that Liverpool began slowly at the San Siro

Liverpool 1-0 Aston Villa: Salah pen wins it on Gerrard’s return to Anfield
Liverpool saw off Aston Villa thanks to Mo Salah‘s second-half penalty, securing their second consecutive 1-0 league win.
Goals
Salah 67′ (pen)
Diogo Jota replaced Oxlade-Chamberlain with half an hour to go and Liverpool’s pressure eventually broke when Tyrone Mings brought down Salah in the 65th minute.
Salah stepped up and hammered the spot-kick into the bottom corner of the Kop net for his 21st goal of the season in all competitions.
Man of the Match: Andy Robertson
Liverpool 3-1 Newcastle: Trent’s stunner seals Anfield victory
Liverpool pulled off the result most expected as they dominated Newcastle at Anfield, with Trent Alexander-Arnold‘s stunner polishing off a 3-1 win at Anfield.
Goals
Shelvey 7′
Jota 21′ (assist – none)
Salah 25′ (assist – Mane)
Alexander-Arnold 87′ (assist – Firmino)
The goal came via a stunning hit from the right-back Alexander-Arnold, stepping up from 30 yards and hammering home a strike Steven Gerrard would have been proud of.
Man of the Match: Trent Alexander-Arnold
Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool: 10-man Reds held on a frustrating night
A terrible performance from referee Paul Tierney soured an otherwise enthralling game of football in Tottenham, as 10-man Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw.
Goals
Kane 13′
Jota 35′ (assist – Robertson)
Robertson 69′ (assist – Alexander-Arnold)
Son 74′
Liverpool’s full-backs were, as is often the case, the main attraction, with Andy Robertson going close with an early header while Trent Alexander-Arnold tested Hugo Lloris with a left-footed drive.
Kane was lucky not to see a red card soon after, for a dangerous lunge on Robertson, while Jurgen Klopp received a booking for his protests after an inept Tierney then waved off a clear penalty for Liverpool.
Despite four attackers being on the pitch, though, it was the full-backs who got Liverpool ahead, with Alexander-Arnold drilling a cross in for Robertson to head home, cutting apart a melee in the box.
Liverpool then went down to 10 men at the worst possible time, with Robertson dismissed after a VAR review – yes, there was VAR available in the first half – having swiped through the legs of Emerson Royal.

Leicester 1-0 Liverpool: Reds end year with poor defeat
Liverpool produced a truly awful performance to lose against a Leicester side who were battered 6-3 by Man City two days ago.
Goals
Lookman 59′
Liverpool’s final game of 2021 saw misses from Mo Salah (penalty) and Sadio Mane prove costly as Jurgen Klopp‘s side produced one of their worst displays in some time against a depleted Leicester team who played at Man City just two days ago.
Liverpool should have been ahead on 15 minutes when Mo Salah was fouled by Wilfried Ndidi inside the box, but the Egyptian’s penalty was saved by Kasper Schmeichel. It wasn’t the best spot-kick, at a good height for the keeper and not in the corner – his first miss in the Premier League since 2017.
